Garstang Show – First Saturday in August
Reputedly one of the Best One Day Shows in the North West, the Annual Garstang Show promises to be another spectacular event in the local Annual Calendar. From 8.00 am until 6.00 pm there are very many different attractions catering for all comers including:
- 12 different breeds of cattle including Jersey
- 15 breeds of sheep including rare breeds
- Shire Horses including brewery and private turnouts pulling old style brewery wagons
- Light Horses including several National Qualifiers for the Horse of the Year Show
- Show Jumping
- Rabbits ~ Pigeons ~ Poultry ~ Budgerigars ~ Dog Show ~ Pygmy Goats
- Horticultural and Floral Arts Marquee including Children’s Classes, Domestic Science, Photography, Handicraft and Honey Sections
Craft Tent- Craft Tent
- Food Hall with tasters for the public
- Local Chamber of Trade and Commerce
- WI Tent
- Young Farmer's Club Display
- Display of modern and vintage tractors and machinery
- Bird of Prey Display
- Over 100 trade stands and shops
- Bar and Catering/Luncheon Tent

NOT TO BE MISSED - The event attracts in the region of 15,000 spectators making it a superb day out for all the family and with FREE car parking and adults just £10, children are free.
Garstang Family Fun Day and Music Festival – Sunday following Garstang Show
2010 saw the first Family Fun Day and Music Festival. This was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended, listening to the bands playing throughout the afternoon and visiting the many marquees with displays and items for sale including.

- Lancashire Militia - The Lancashire Militia is a 17th Century re-enactment group depicting living history and military displays including artillery.
