The Garstang Ukulele Group
The Garstang Ukulele Group continues to thrive and we now fill the Arts Centre on Sunday afternoons. If you are thinking of joining us you may need to build an extension to the centre first! February gave us the opportunity to play some romantic music at the Tithe Barn in Garstang, where we once again accompanied Ukulele Jukebox (www.ukulelejukebox.uk) in entertaining couples celebrating Valentine's Day. We also returned to Preston for the Parkinson's Disease Society. In March we have gigs at Cabus Village Hall and the URC in Garstang - full details all our gigs are listed on the home page of our website at garstangukulelegroup.co.uk. We will also be raising money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital at our monthly strumalong at the Tithe Barn. These strumalongs are on the 2nd Thursday of each month and anyone can join in. We have a songbook and we take it in turns to choose songs to play. It makes for a nice relaxed evening, so please do come along. Contact Bob Sapey 01995 604621
