The Wheatsheaf, in the centre of
Garstang, extensively refurbished in 2003. It now boasts an
beautiful interior, car parking for 30 cars at the rear of the property,
Beer Gardens both front and rear and 6 Cask Ales on tap.
We
offer two menu's; Our 'Lunch and Lite Bite Menu' available from 10am
until 2.30pm Monday to Saturday featuring hot baps, sandwiches and jacket potatoes as well as a selection of full main courses and side orders.
In
the evening we switch to the 'Main Menu', available from 5.30pm until last
orders at around 8.30pm Monday to Friday and from 12noon until 7.30 pm on
a Sunday. It features a selection of starters, salads, vegetarian selection,
fish dishes and steaks & chicken 'From the Grill'.
We
also offer a selection of 'Daily Specials' from the blackboard.
During
2004 we added an extensive Beer Garden area at the rear, the ideal place
to enjoy one of our 3 permanent Cask Ales 'Jennings Cumberland', 'Theakston's
BB' and 'Courage Director's Bitter' or one of our 3 guest Cask Ales. We have a designated no smoking area and
full facilities for the disabled.
We have a large
screen TV to enable us to show major football games other sporting events.
We also run a men's 'Darts and Dominoes'
evening on a Wednesday.
We accept all major credit cards and
