Calderbank Country Lodge is a small
fully licensed Hotel and Restaurant in the picturesque hamlet of
Oakenclough. Surrounded by open countryside in the Forest of Bowland,
Calderbank offers a quiet retreat from everyday life.
Restaurant - Rowland and Lesley
offer excellent traditional, home cooked local produce in the
comfortable and stylish restaurant. The restaurant normally seats
30 people but this can be extended to forty if required for private
parties. A la carte is available from 6pm until 9pm Thursday to
Monday inclusive. Sunday lunch is served from 12 noon to 5pm.
Accommodation - Our three rooms
have recently been totally refurbished to offer guests a high standard
of quality. All the rooms have excellent views and with the
advantage of allowing visitors a central point to walk, cycle or drive
around this beautiful area of Lancashire.
Weddings - Calderbank has the
ideal surroundings for that small intimate wedding party. The restaurant
can be reserved exclusively for your use whether for a buffet or seated
meal.
Conferences - The restaurant
can also be booked for small meetings when facilities such as flip
charts and OHP and screen are available.
Bar - The bar has a full “on
licence” allowing travellers and locals alike to call in for liquid
refreshment if food is not a priority. Walking -
Circular walks are available from Calderbank. These walks cross many
other local pathways in the area. The local fells, where open access is
available, are also easily reached from here. |
