Bridgehouse Marina &
Caravan Park, a family owned and run
site has been trading since 1974 and lies between the market town of Garstang and the village of Nateby adjacent to the tranquil Lancaster
canal and is easily accessible from junction 32 or 33 of the M6 motorway
Marina -
Situated on the banks of the Lancaster Canal and offering a very scenic
location to both sail and moor your boat. Due to the much publicised
Ribble link, the Lancaster Canal is now connected to the main systems of
England, yet still manages to be one of the only canals that is lock free
for 42 miles, with a sprinkling of towns and villages (not to mention canal
side pubs), there is always something to see and do.
160 moorings with water & electric to the
majority of jetties. CCTV is in operation 24 hours a day along with
lighting during the hours of darkness to aid security. We also have
all the facilities the modern boater requires, toilets, showers,
launderette, diesel, Calor Gas, BWB licences, Insurance.
The marina has a mobile hoist (max
capacity 20 tons /60ft) for lifting narrow boats and cruisers alike either
on or off lorries or just out onto the yard for D I Y purposes (under cover
storage is also available). Caravan Park -
The caravan park is divided into two elements, Touring &
Static. The Touring area has 50 hard standing pitches with
electricity. Our modern toilet block is heated and contains showers,
toilets, washing & shaving points, laundry, covered sinks to wash those
dirty pots and pans and finally a toilet waste disposal point. We even
have an area for children to play.
The setting for our static caravans is close
to the canal in a quiet area away from the touring area. The grounds
are maintained by our own staff to a very high standard. We can offer and provide all your requirements for purchasing
your holiday home, from arranging your financial requirements, to delivery
and the positioning of your caravan on an available pitch.
